September 2010

I’ve been sitting on the rest of the summer workshop photos and since school just started and we have more scholarships than ever this year I figured it was a good time to get them up on the blog. We are in need of donations for the school scholarships and along with the entreAmigos public school scholarships I am going to be heading up donations for the local Huichol girls to go to the Montessori school. I should have more information in the next week or two. Please contact me at or go the the entreAmigos website: to make a donation.

This year there were more workshops than ever before, including cooking, sewing, painting, dance, circus training, ping pong, arts and crafts, and English. The big hit, however, was the long board skateboarding workshop that the guys from Treee Skateboarding put on. Nicole even got into the fun… We are now working on putting in a skate park next to the new entreAmigos Community Center. Please contact me for more information or to donate.

Christina and Eric decided to plan their destination wedding in Nuevo Vallarta at the Palace Resort with only their closest friends and family. I’m so lucky that they did because they were such an incredible couple to have met and I absolutely loved documenting their day. They met in Marfa, Texas (hence the head table setting) and I was told I have to go someday. Eric works for Barefoot Vineyards so there was delicious champagne to be had by all and with hand rolled cigars how can you go wrong? Oh and seriously how cute is Eric’s son Frankie! Love the initial cuff links and converse sneakers!
