Toward the end of February I got asked to take photos of the Costa Verde School fundraiser in Sayulita. It was held at Don Pedro’s palapa and had food from some of the best restaurants and caterers around including Naef, Cafe Del Mar, Don Pedro’s, and Cafe Des Artistes. How could I pass that up? The school did an amazing job and raised a ton of money auctioning off items from almost all of the local businesses. There was even a photobooth set up with wigs and props for the kids (and one adventurous mom…) which made for some sweet shots.

The day I got back to Mexico I received an email from a woman who was coming down with 100 friends for an annual celebration that started three years ago. She wanted me to document their stay, specifically the two parties they would be throwing on Friday and Saturday. Both events were being sponsored by the Riviera Nayarit, Corona, and Cuervo 1800. How could I say no? La Chanda and her friends were a blast and I can’t wait for them to come back down next year!
