Chelsea+Matt | Sayulita, Mexico

Chelsea and Matt were married in Sayulita at Don Pedro’s palapa Brisa del Mar. We got a chance to take some photos before hand at Villa Amor and Playa de Los Muertos. Planning and design by the always wonderful Sea of Dreams Weddings. This is was a pretty short shoot for me, only three hours. For those that are interested I will usually offer shorter plans on weekdays during the wedding season.

Chelsea and Matt’s wedding is also being featured on Style Me Pretty today so go over and leave some comment love here!

Featured in Utterly Engaged.

Jenn+Kent’s vintage garden party wedding in Sayulita, Mexico is featured in the new issue of Utterly Engaged “To The Sea” which focuses on beach weddings. They did a beautiful six page spread and I love how it came out. Design was by the always amazing Mishka and event planning was Kerry Moehler. To see the original post on their wedding click here.

Ria+John

Ria and John got married at Las Caletas, a private beach run by Vallarta Adventures. It’s about an hour away from the mainland by boat and you really do feel like you’re on your own private island. I hung out with Ria and her girls (and guys) in the afternoon before John and the rest of the guests arrived. It’s such a great way for the bride to have a relaxed, low key morning. A delicious Mexican lunch followed by snorkeling? Who wouldn’t want that on their wedding day? The night was topped off with s’mores and fire dancing. This was a seriously super fun wedding to shoot. Planning and design was by the lovely Kelly Karhoff. Stay tuned for the sick ‘trash the dress’ photos from our session in San Pancho later in the week.

This wedding is being featured as the real wedding of the week on Project Wedding which you can check out here.

Bailey+Chad

Bailey and Chad were married at Dreams Vallarta with incredible design by the Dazzling Details. Succulents in Mexico? Yes please! Beyond the amazing accents and perfect weather Bailey and Chad’s love for each other was tested like no other wedding I have been a part of. They took “in sickness and in health” to a whole other extreme. Right after the ceremony Bailey started to feel ill and had to sit down. From there it got worse and she retired to her room with Chad and her parents along with some of the wedding party. A doctor was called and meanwhile I’m downstairs at the party for the two of them. Everyone was concerned and no one really knew what they should be doing while the couple whose love they were there to celebrate was not present. Finally Bailey’s father came down and told the guests to start dancing and celebrating like they should be and that the newlyweds would be down shortly. Even though she arrived in a wheel chair Bailey didn’t let that get her down. She “danced” the night away with her family and friends and even was able to make it out of the chair for a shortened first dance.

A huge congratulations to Bailey and Chad. Your love was tried and tested within hours of being a married couple and you didn’t let it affect your day. I was so honored to be a part of such a beautiful relationship.
