Jessica and Brian are exactly the type of couple who should be getting married in Mexico. Adventurous travelers they have a love of all things foreign and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their wedding in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero. They had their welcome dinner at La Perla restaurant on Playa Ropa and the wedding was held at the gorgeous Hotel Tentaciones a boutique hotel overlooking Playa Madera. Add to that a Nicole Miller dress and Badgley Mishka shoes and I was a very happy photographer.
Akike has been living in Zihua for more than ten years and besides being an amazing musician he is starting a school of music for the local children. He already gives daily classes and it’s amazing to see how far these kids have come. He focuses on classical and jazz which aren’t as common to find down here so it’s extra special.
Another local musician, Juanito, stopped by to play a bit even though he was only supposed to play the wedding the next day. It was a great surprise and everybody loved it… especially Jessica and her sister!
The views at Hotel Tentaciones are absolutely incredible and combined with their gorgeous architecture it was by far on of the most beautiful hotels in the area.

Apparently being an ex-Marine means laying everything out perfectly even for your wedding. Oh and as Jessica let me know, he always makes the bed!
After the wedding we hopped in a taxi to town and got some last minute shots in while trying to hold on to the last bits of sunlight.
Everyone on the dock was super cute and congratulatory to the newly weds chanting “Beso! Beso!” (Kiss) Brian and Jessica happily obliged.
